This genuine Rolex stainless steel case back, which came from a career RSC watchmaker, is in NOS condition showing no clear signs of ever having been used. Any wear seen is from storage/handling over the years. The inside of the case back is stamped "ROLEX" followed by "GENEVA,""SWITZERLAND,""STAINLESS STEEL,""ROLEXS.A." and "2180." The outside of the case back is beautifully engraved "CUTTY SARK" and "Blended SCOTCH WHISKY" along with the Company's emblem. This case back is appropriate for the following Rolex references: 16570/16700/16710/16713Parts that weren't born together (ie this case back and your mid-case) will very likely need some form of manipulation by a skilled watchmaker to fit correctly. If they come together beautifully and without issue, great, but in my more than 30 years of collecting that is an unlikely scenario.
