Rare model 1861 American Watch Co. movement! Movement is in working condition, and keeping reasonably good time. 10 size, 15 jewels Key wind, key set Serial 173147 Engraved on the back: Patented Nov. 30, 1858; Appleton Tracy & Co., Waltham Mass. “15 J” etched on the back by a former owner or watchmaker. Made January 1866 Total production of this model was only 1396 Dial is very nice and without chips or cracks. Not even a hairline! Beautiful gold filigree hands and in excellent condition.
