Elgin 269 Movement & Private Label Hyman, Berg & Co Enamel Dial - Parts / Repair. This vintage Elgin 269, model 2, class 85, 7 jewels, 0 size movement is being sold AS IS for parts/repair. The movement is stamped "Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. - U.S.A. - 9962448 - Safety Pinion". All screws and jewels appear to be in good condition. Because this watch is missing it's crown/stem, I am unable to test the piece to see if it is running. Being sold AS IS for parts/repair with no guarantee of future performance. The movement has a white enamel private label dial with black Roman numerals, a red five minute track, blue light spade hands, a single sunk seconds register at six and is marked "Hyman, Berg & Co. Chicago". The dial has a very light hairlines from the register towards 26-28 minutes, but is in otherwise great vintage condition.
