Antique American Waltham pocket watch movement and dial, serial number 4040997, produced June 1889 - September 1889. Grade No. 8 (Hillside Quality), Model 1884, 14 size, 7 jewels, hunting, lever set, 3/4 plate, gilt finish. Movement and dial only, no case. Missing hour and minute hands but has small seconds hand. Condition: Winds and balance has good motion, but only runs briefly before stopping. Needs service. Enameled dial is cracked throughout but intact. Sold as-is, for parts or repair.
