I am not a watch expert, nor a Rolex expert. Per the internet this appears to be a crown for a pre-1960 Rolex. This crown may have been on Submariners and Bubblebacks. I did remove the sealing o-ring and did clean the interior of the crown with mild soap and a soft brush to be able to show the condition of the threads.
