Listed are new old stock nice, DOMED, extra thick (3.3-3.5mm) beveled edge glass watch crystals for open face pocket watches. These were purchased from a now closed watch maker supply house and were manufactured in the 1870's to about 1910. Many have the original manufacturer ligne size diameter stickers affixed but we have found that these measurements were quite erratic. We have remeasured the diameters and thicknesses in millimeters with a precision micrometer. Please note that these crystals may be slightly out of round and may vary in thickness in each particular crystal. Our measurements give a close approximation of what the most likely measurements are. A mm diameter to ligne conversion chart is pictured for your convenience. The quality control of the early day manufacturers left much to be desired, but this was the standard for that time. All crystals are beveled with domed tops and domed bottoms. Most crystals are in NOS excellent condition but some may have small very minor imperfections and chips along the edges that will be hidden under the bezel once inserted. If the crystal is slightly small it can be glued in place and if slightly large it can be ground down to fit correctly. You are purchasing ONE crystal of your choice.
